Help the Urban Farm!

Last year you helped us adopt a garden in Africa (read about the garden here!) This year help us provide much-needed funds to a rooftop farm in Dublin: the Dublin Urban Farm! For €50 you can field a team of up to five culinary experts ready to destroy all competitors in a battle royale of gastronomic knowledge. Or, just bring five of your closest friends to have a laugh, enjoy some cocktails and possibly win a prize or two. Either way, you'll be helping to fund a project researching and demonstrating intensive urban growing techniques (The real reason? Come on, an actual farm on the roof of the Williams and Woods building near Parnell Square?! That's just way cool.).

We'll be giving away spot prizes galore from such folks as Big Red Kitchen, Sheridan's Cheesemongers, O'Connell's Restaurant, 8 Degrees Brewing, Damson Diner, My Mexican Shop, the Gibson Hotel, Gill & MacMillan and many more!

In addition to the famous pizzas at the Sugar Club, Gruel Guerilla will be serving some tasty eats: Ed Hick slow roast pork on Arun Bakery vlaas with Denis Healy radish and greens from McNallys family farm and roast Irish shiitake mushrooms with Camembert from Corleggy, mustard greens and redcurrant relish.
